Official launch of Sablon, Belgian chocolate couverture new and exclusive in the United Kingdom.
The demand for chocolate couverture continues to rise, but due to shortages in supply many have found it difficult to secure their preferred brand.
At Sarunds, we fully understand the frustration this has caused. So, with necessity being the mother of invention, in 2022 we embarked on a World Tour to find a new partner who could provide excellent quality couverture at great value pricing, with the all important year round security of supply.
One of our many visits led us to Bostani, near Liege, who produce their own couverture ‘Sablon’ in-house, They make their own couverture to allow them to make high quality finished chocolates, truffles and bars.
We were blown away by the taste and now, after some serious joint product development with Bostani, we are proud to announce that we have been appointed their exclusive UK distributor.
Sablon is a very high-quality couverture for the discerning chef looking to elevate their creations or for a home cook looking to add a touch of decadence to their baking.
It is also a single origin couverture, made solely from Ghanaian cocoa beans and is both Rain Forest Alliance and Kosher certified.
